What is the difference in taking a life just after it's born or years later? That will be the defense argument murderers will use in the future in New York. Call it what you will but "abortion" after a baby is born and alive is still Murder.
What is it? …it’s BORDER SECURITY, PRISON SECURITY, BUSINESS SECURITY, RESIDENTIAL SECURITY, PEACE OF MIND SECURITY.
Call it what you want, but it is what keeps people safe. It keeps people in, and it keeps people out. There is no substitute for it. Walls even block noise on our roadways…because it works!
Walls give us privacy. Walls hold back water, rock and mountains, and illegal aliens, in short …walls work!
Walls keep illegal aliens out and force people to a central place so that the men and women, who lay their lives on the line to protect you and me, can better focus on their front and not worry as much about their backs, because whoever put up these walls has their backs!
When someone says, “walls don’t work”, I would have to challenge the sanity of that person. Why would anybody in their right mind say such a foolish thing, I ask?don’t know the answer to that, other than to say, “She must be nuts or has an agenda that is different than protecting you and me”.
Those who own property on the Border who refuse to allow walls or fences on their property, in return for compensation; they could find that their “open area” becomes a gateway, large crossing for illegal aliens, smugglers and drug runners. Sort of a “welcome wagon” entrance! But, they probably won’t mind having MS13 members running through their yards on the Border, at night, while they sleep, with their families. I’m certain they won’t bother, rape or pillage…they’re probably very honorable and trustworthy MS13 members, anyway. So don’t you worry?!
I don’t know how the Government will handle Eminent Domain, but it should be fair. If I lived on the Southern Border (never would happen!), I would want the walls and fences, on my land for sure! In fact, I would pay for it myself (which I did around my business, as well as my home –2,000 feet of it).
RAID ON “TOP 10 FUGITIVE” ROGER STONE
On a different note…for the new FBI Director Wray — I understand that he has no prior law enforcement experience, no FBI experience, no arrest, no SWAT, and so forth experience, and must rely on those around him for advice. But, whoever they are …change it, now!! The FBI does not do, “Hollywood arrests” because if you do many arrests, as the old FBI used to do, sooner or later it will turn to shit. You NEVER allow any news media to film any arrests…period! Un-freaking believable…idiots, I swear! I hope he’s not still listening to McCabe and Strzok!
A couple of points, Mr. Director, with all due respect… if CNN appeared at the scene of “where an arrest is about to take place” before the Freaking arrest team (when J. Edgar Hoover, L. Patrick Gray, Judge Sessions, Judge Webster, et al. were FBI Directors), they would have ordered a full blown investigation to find the “leaker”, and we would find him!
The use of an FBI SWAT Team, on an obvious nonviolent subject/crime, when there is NO REASON to expect the type of trouble the FBI SWAT team is trained to handle, is an over-exaggerated, heavy-handed, farce, an abuse of power, and nothing short of shameful. You need to sit down with that idiot Mueller and put a stop to it. He was NEVER a lawman. Get some retired, former Criminal Agents (like Jim Kalstrom) on your team of advisors. You desperately need them! This should not have been an arrest (neither should the Manafort situation been an arrest)!
However, when it’s Hillary’s turn…do use the Team, cuffs (she’ll enjoy them), and hit it at 3 am. The public would be interested in who’s sleeping with whom at that house!
President Trump got some time off from being the Media's most hated man in America this week as they unleashed a hurricane of bad press on Howard Shultz for even considering running on an Independent ticked in 2020.
Three-year-old Casey Hathaway was found alive and well around 9 p.m. last Thursday night near his home in rural Craven County, North Carolina.
Casey was in relatively good health and spirits, according to law enforcement officials. The outcome of this missing child search is being described by many as a miracle. Investigators believe Casey spent nearly 55 hours in the elements.
Casey was located after a local neighbor called the tip line saying she heard a small child calling out. Casey was found about a quarter-mile from his last known location, his great-grandmother's house.
Casey spent two full nights out in the woods in the cold with scattered rain showers and little protection from the elements. Had the search not ended when it did, he would have had another cold night. Everyone is happy that Casey is home and reunited with his family.
Another positive outcome from this week was to see the multiple law enforcement agencies, local volunteers and prayers that were directed at the search and rescue operation.
Craven County Sheriff Chip Hughes said last Friday morning that Casey went missing Tuesday afternoon, and shortly after, every major player was on the ground looking for Casey. That includes the FBI, Marines, officers and deputies from surrounding departments, planes, drones and dogs.
Eastern North Carolina residents may remember a similar but longer search in 2017 for Mariah Woods. The outcome of that search was horrific but the community support and the desire of local residents to help was staggering in both cases.
Thank you to all the agencies and the volunteers who spent hours and days in the woods in cold and wet weather to search for Casey. Thank you to all the churches and local businesses that supported the volunteers by bringing food, tables and other supplies to the volunteer staging area at a nearby church. One rescue volunteer even said that there was so much food and companionship that it felt like a Thanksgiving dinner.
"I'm just very thankful for the outpouring of support we got from the community," Sheriff Hughes said.
It’s nice to report some good news!
Actually it’s been nice to report good news for a change, I’ll say it again, DeSantis has been very impressive, his challenge to lawmakers to “correct the mistakes” in the state’s medical marijuana program before the courts did, has already been met with results.
The same day DeSantis issued his call for legislation rather than litigation to “correct” the program’s “mistakes,” Sen. Gary Farmer, D-Fort Lauderdale, submitted Senate Bill 372, which would legalize smokable bud and expand access to medical marijuana.
On Monday, Sen. Jeff Brandes, R-St. Petersburg, filed SB 182, which would redefine the term “medical use” to include smoking.
The bill would also delete a provision that prohibits a medical marijuana treatment center from selling products like pipes, bongs or rolling papers.
Once the law is amended, the program will also get an administrative upgrade with newly-elected state Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried recently announcing she would appoint a “director of cannabis” to run it. That sounds like a fun job!
All kidding aside, I’m VERY impressed with our new Governor
