Dear Editor,

I made a call to Gabriela Vigo, Ph.D., CFM: Hazard Mitigation Specialist with FEMA, who referred me to Miles Anderson, Bureau Chief of Mitigation for Department of Emergency Management(DEM).

Miles Anderson

Bureau Chief of Mitigation

Florida Division of Emergency Management

2555 Shumard Oak Blvd., Tallahassee, Florida 32399-2100

Office (850) 413-9816

Within 24 hours of contacting Miles Anderson I received a phone call from him. He is very interested in coming to FMB to help in any way his office can to mitigate our storm water drainage program. Mr. Anderson said he is in our corner on this problem and his office's mission is help cities like ours in the state of Florida. He will try to come down in January to meet with us in addressing our issues. He said repeatedly during our conversation that the DEM, as well as other sources, have grant funds to help with storm water mitigation issues and is happy to extend the resources of his office to help FMB. I would ask that the council wait until the resources and expertise of the Florida Division of Emergency Management are considered in the planning process for FMB. Mr. Anderson would be happy to hear from any of you that may have and interest in discussing the matter with him.

I have also learned that your new proposal includes paving all the roads involved in the drainage project areas. I would ask if paving all the roads in the Laguna Shores area was prudent when the water lines were place next to the road and all the driveways were cut and replaced along with sodding the yards and re-graveling the stone yards. The cuts in the road were minimal. If the paving was to take place why not run the water lines in the street and avoid all the expense of cutting the driveways and all the yard repair. The pervious storm water projects in Laguna Shores did not necessitate the repaving of roads. The repaving of roads in Laguna Shores raised the level of the road and further impeded the drainage of storm water in many areas since curbing was not included to direct the flow of storm water.

My conversations include an individual with years of experience in storm water mitigation claims and issues, as well as an individual with a previous career in water treatment and storm water management is a large Midwestern city. We would very much like to address these planning issues before a decision is made that could create an expensive and protracted legal battle that would forever divide the city.

The following website is the information that Tampa published in conjunction with receiving large grants to assist in their storm water program. If you have not seen this publication I think you might find the facts and figures for other cities in Florida interesting. Tampa's fee is 1/3 the fee of the Laguna Shores residents.

Earlier in the week, over 1700 black teens went to a white area of Louisville Kentucky and effectively shut the mall down by disrupting businesses and harassing customers. Police had to send in over 50 officers and when they arrived they teens starting cursing at them and refused to obey orders to disperse.

President Obama has encouraged the nonstop civil unrest by training and cloning an army of social justice bullies through a little-known but well-funded group called Organizing for Action (OFA). OFA has trained more than 10,000 leftist organizers, who, in turn, are training millions more. The fascist group, which recently registered as a 501c4 nonprofit eligible for unlimited contributions, holds regular “organizing summits” on college campuses. These irritating, self-absorbed, belligerent brats will “hands-up, don’t shoot” themselves into every cobwebbed corner of society, and the liberal media will give them the national bullhorn to amplify their hatred every time.

In addition, Obama has trained hundreds of thousands of junior agitators (what we have here) through My Brother’s Keeper and AmeriCorps, a Clinton youth program he’s dramatically expanded, All three of these federally sponsored projects have crossover with the Black Lives Matter and Occupy Wall Street movements, both of which Obama embraces and Georg Soros funds. They share manpower and resources, as well as radical agendas, while coordinating activities with nonprofit ACORN clones, who are being secretly bankrolled through Justice Department subprime settlement funds extracted from banks. (legal?)

Chronic social irritation can do lasting damage to the fabric of a nation. By falsely accusing people of racism . . . or sexism . . . or homophobia . . . or Islamophobia — or whatever other “ism” or phobia they come up with next — these agitators are creating angst and hatred in people’s hearts that wasn’t there previously.

But maybe that’s the objective... to get a rise out of us so they can broadcast it to the world showing how hateful and racist we are.
A good tactic on their part and I'm becoming more certain that’s the objective everyday...

This Is Obama's Legacy

Walking up to the bus stop before school, young Chris Cowgill would usually find a group of kids already there.

Among the group was a typical "give me your lunch money" kind of bully who insulted and threatened Cowgill on a daily basis, but it was one specific morning that tensions escalated out of control when that same bully reached into a nearby bush and pulled out a hammer.

"You are not allowed at my bus stop," Cowgill recalls the bully saying.

The bully raised the hammer over his head and charged at Cowgill who turned and fled from the bus stop. With tears streaming down his face, he ran all the way home with the bully following close behind. Once inside his home with the door closed and locked behind him, Cowgill told his mom everything that had just taken place.

That day, he stayed home from school and his father enrolled him at the United Studios of Self Defense.

The New York Post recently released a story that is quite shattering in its' implications. It suggests that investigations are being pulled that could lead to greater security for all Americans from the Jihadi style violence that seems to be increasing in the US. Here is the report:
