Corona Flu Virus: By The Numbers - updated 3-21-2020 Featured

The US gov't is in full swing frontal attack on the Covid19. In Florida, our beaches, bars and nightclubs are closed and restaurants have been ordered/limited to takeout and deliveries only.

It almost appears that they are using the old saying of Rahm Emanuel "Never let a serious crisis go to waste!" It appears that they are trying to see how close they can get to martial law without actually declaring it!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we shouldn't be concerned at all or that this shouldn't be taken seriously but President Trump's initial swift response with the travel ban and quarantine of cruise ship passengers is why we still have so few cases in the US and all the while the liberals and media called him xenophobe, paranoid, racist, and discriminatory and now are saying he didn't act quickly enough.... Well which is it?

By the Numbers:

Corona Flu (Because that is what it is....... a flu virus) there are as of 4:00 pm March 20th, 2020

278,560 cases worldwide so far with 92,906 people that have had total recoveries and 11,555 deaths in the whole world!

There have been 19,974 total cases with 275 deaths and 147 complete recoveries in the USA and there are currently 19,352 active Corona Flu cases in the USA with only 564 of those in serious or critical condition! 564 out of  over 19,300!

Remember... testing swab kits are here so we are testing a lot more people each day so the number or cases will go up quickly as we test more people!

Now in places like China, Italy, Iran and S. Korea where the outbreak is running amuk, there is much greater concern but the reaction to this by our fellow Americans is really over the top!

....................

In 2009, there were up to 1.4 billion worldwide cases of the Swine Flu in the one year it was a global pandemic with 575.000 deatjs worldwide

In the United States, there were 61 million cases of confirmed swine flu, with 12,469 deaths.

President Obama waited until 1000 people had died from Swine Flu in the United States before declaring an emergency, because of his late response, the US had the most cases of Swine Flu and the most deaths of any country, here are some stats on the Swine Flu Death counts. While looking at these stats please remember the USA has 325 Million people, India and China have 1.4 Billion people each: India had 1035 Swine Flu deaths, China had 737 Swine Flu deaths,

Turkey had 458 Swine Flu deaths, United Kingdom had 457 Swine Flu deaths, Russia had 438 Swine Flu deaths, Spain 232, Thailand 192....................

As you can see even though India and China have 1.1 Billion people more than the US each.... no place can even compare to the 12,469 Swine Flu deaths we had in the US.

.................................

If this is our reaction over this low risk (to most of the population) Flu Virus, I hate to think of what will happen if/when there was a real threat to be concerned with.
