Not Standing For Our National Anthem....

EVER WONDER WHERE COLIN KAEPERNICK GOT HIS IDEA TO KNEEL AND DISRESPECT THE FLAG?

Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171...
During rendition of the national anthem, when the flag is displayed, all present (except those in uniform) are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Or, at the very least, "Stand and Face It".
When running for president Senator Obama was asked why he didn't wear a US Flag pin... his reply :
"As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides." "There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression..." "The anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all that sort of thing."
Obama continued: "The National Anthem should be 'swapped' for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like To Teach the World To Sing'. If that were our anthem, then, I might salute it. In my opinion, we should consider reinventing our National Anthem as well as 'redesign' our Flag to better offer our enemies hope and love. It’s my intention, if elected, to disarm America to the level of acceptance to our Middle East Brethren. If we,as a Nation of warring people, conduct ourselves like the nations of Islam, where peace prevails, perhaps a state or period of mutual accord could exist between our governments".
When I Become President, I will seek a pact of agreement to end hostilities between those who have been at war or in a state of enmity, and a freedom from disquieting oppressive thoughts. We as a Nation, have placed upon the nations of Islam, an unfair injustice which is WHY my wife disrespects the Flag and she and I have attended several flag burning ceremonies in the past".
"Of course now, I have found myself about to become The President of the United States and I have put my hatred aside.
I will use my power to bring CHANGE to this Nation, and offer the people a new path . My wife and I look forward to becoming our Country's First black Family. Indeed , CHANGE is about to overwhelm the United States of America."
Yes, you read it right.
Please pass on.
Just think, with the entire country knowing how that man thought and believed, they still elected him to run and represent the country two times.
We deserved what we got.

For the Record: Irish Slaves

The Irish slave trade began when 30,000 Irish prisoners were sold as slaves to the New World. The King James I Proclamation of 1625 required Irish political prisoners be sent overseas and sold to English settlers in the West Indies. By the mid 1600s, the Irish were the main slaves sold to Antigua and Montserrat. At that time, 70% of the total population of Montserrat were Irish slaves. Ireland quickly became the biggest source of human livestock for English merchants. The majority of the early slaves to the New World were actually white. From 1641 to 1652, over 500,000 Irish were killed by the English and another 300,000 were sold as slaves. Ireland’s population fell from about 1,500,000 to 600,000 in one single decade. Families were ripped apart as the British did not allow Irish dads to take their wives and children with them across the Atlantic. This led to a helpless population of homeless women and children. Britain’s solution was to auction them off as well. During the 1650s, over 100,000 Irish children between the ages of 10 and 14 were taken from their parents and sold as slaves in the West Indies, Virginia and New England. In this decade, 52,000 Irish (mostly women and children) were sold to Barbados and Virginia. Another 30,000 Irish men and women were also transported and sold to the highest bidder. In 1656, Cromwell ordered that 2000 Irish children be taken to Jamaica and sold as slaves to English settlers. Many people today will avoid calling the Irish slaves what they truly were: Slaves. They’ll come up with terms like “Indentured Servants” to describe what occurred to the Irish. However, in most cases from the 17th and 18th centuries, Irish slaves were nothing more than human cattle. As an example, the African slave trade was just beginning during this same period. It is well recorded that African slaves, not tainted with the stain of the hated Catholic theology and more expensive to purchase, were often treated far better than their Irish counterparts. African slaves were very expensive during the late 1600s (50 Sterling). Irish slaves came cheap (no more than 5 Sterling). If a planter whipped or branded or beat an Irish slave to death, it was never a crime. A death was a monetary setback, but far cheaper than killing a more expensive African. The English masters quickly began breeding the Irish women for both their own personal pleasure and for greater profit. Children of slaves were themselves slaves, which increased the size of the master’s free workforce. Even if an Irish woman somehow obtained her freedom, her kids would remain slaves of her master. Thus, Irish moms, even with this new found emancipation, would seldom abandon their kids and would remain in servitude. In time, the English thought of a better way to use these women (in many cases, girls as young as 12) to increase their market share: The settlers began to breed Irish women and girls with African men to produce slaves with a distinct complexion. These new “mulatto” slaves brought a higher price than Irish livestock and, likewise, enabled the settlers to save money rather than purchase new African slaves. This practice of interbreeding Irish females with African men went on for several decades and was so widespread that, in 1681, legislation was passed “forbidding the practice of mating Irish slave women to African slave men for the purpose of producing slaves for sale.” In short, it was stopped only because it interfered with the profits of a large slave transport company. England continued to ship tens of thousands of Irish slaves for more than a century. Records state that, after the 1798 Irish Rebellion, thousands of Irish slaves were sold to both America and Australia. There were horrible abuses of both African and Irish captives. One British ship even dumped 1,302 slaves into the Atlantic Ocean so that the crew would have plenty of food to eat. There is little question that the Irish experienced the horrors of slavery as much (if not more in the 17th Century) as the Africans did. There is, also, very little question that those brown, tanned faces you witness in your travels to the West Indies are very likely a combination of African and Irish ancestry. In 1839, Britain finally decided on its own to end its participation in Satan’s highway to hell and stopped transporting slaves. While their decision did not stop pirates from doing what they desired, the new law slowly concluded THIS chapter of nightmarish Irish misery. But, if anyone, black or white, believes that slavery was only an African experience, then they’ve got it completely wrong. Irish slavery is a subject worth remembering, not erasing from our memories.

The crisis of the coronavirus-induced economic lockdown and now the violent protests in the streets have unleashed a depression-level financial crisis and unprecedented human suffering -- especially in our inner cities. These events have also exposed a Grand Canyon-sized chasm that now separates how the left and the right see America today. To wit:

No. 1: The right believes that stay-at-home orders and social distancing requirements are counterproductive and should be repealed safely and immediately. The left believes that those orders must stay in place but should only apply to those on the right, not to liberal protesters.

No. 2: The right engages in nonviolence. The left shows tacit support for mob violence.

No. 3: The right believes the best way to revive the economy is to incentivize a dormant workforce to get back on the job. The left believes that the best way to revive the economy is to pay people more money not to work than to work.

No. 4: When the right protests against injustice, such as 40 million people losing their jobs due to lockdowns, it is always during the light of day so they can be seen and heard. The left protests in the dark so people can't see what crimes some of the protestors are committing.

No. 5: When the right attends rallies, they carry the American flag. When the left protests (and riots), the only American flags you see are burned.

No. 6: The right believes there are limits to how much governments can spend and borrow to avoid national bankruptcy and financial ruin. The left believes that trillions of dollars of added spending and debt are advisable and benign.

No. 7: When the right holds rallies, the protesters clean up after themselves. When the left protests, they ransack and burn their neighborhoods, spray-paint obscene graffiti and leave a mess of litter and trash everywhere for someone else to clean up. Yet leftists say they are the environmentalists.

No. 8: The right stands in support of small-business people's rights and has been asking businesses like hardware stores, run by immigrants or other minority owners, to open up. The left's rallies lead to looting and burning down the hardware stores.

No. 9: The right believes the best way to get people back to work is by getting money straight to people's paychecks through a payroll tax cut. The left thinks the best course is to give money to mayors, governors and other politicians.

No. 10: The right wants to help prevent racism in urban police forces by firing incompetent and bigoted police officers. The left stands by the unions, which prevent police from being fired.

No. 11: The right wants to make America look like Florida and Texas. The left wants the rest of the nation to look like New York and Illinois -- which are crumbling from rioting, lockdowns, high taxes and an accelerating stampede of businesses leaving the state.

Those are the monumentally important choices America faces. This is what the 2020 elections are all about on Nov. 3.

Stephen Moore

Mr. President, you've taken step one: declaring antifa a domestic terrorist organization. That was a brilliant move. Now it's time for step No. 2: Cut the head off the snake. We've got to aggressively cut off the funding for domestic terrorism.

Those who provide funding are terrorists themselves. Who is providing the funding? There are many suspects. Suspect No. 1 is globalist billionaire George Soros and his Open Society Foundations. It starts there.

Is Soros guilty? That's way above my pay grade. That's why we need a global investigation.

I'm sure there are many other millionaire and billionaire socialists and globalists involved. It's time to make them run for their lives. If found guilty, it will be time to freeze their assets and hunt them down.

My fellow Americans, we are at war. We must face it head-on. Evil globalist and socialist elites are out to bring down and destroy America.

Their political arm is the Democrat Party. Their propaganda arm is mainstream media and social media.

Their funding arm is Hollywood and Silicon Valley.

Their brainwashing arm is made up of millions of Marxist public school teachers and college professors.

And, as we are now seeing on the streets of U.S. cities, their military arm is antifa.

There's no need to question what's happening. You can see it with your own eyes. This nationwide rioting, looting, burning and attacks on police is all clearly coordinated by allies of the Democrat Party: socialists; Marxists; communists; globalists; radical, extreme open-borders madmen. They are carrying out a detailed plan of domestic terrorism.

I learned this strategy at Columbia University with my classmate Barack Obama. It is called the Cloward-Piven strategy. All the elitist kids I met at Columbia believed in this plan. They all bragged about being socialists and communists. They hated America, capitalism, wealthy business owners and, perhaps most of all, white people.

Sigmund Freud would have had a field day with my vicious, intellectual, self-hating, liberal classmates because they were all the things they hated: white, rich and the children of wealthy business owners.

My classmates repeated over and over that they wanted to overwhelm the U.S. economic system, bankrupt the wealthy, close all the businesses and burn it all down.

Look around. It's happening, first with the lockdown and closure of the U.S. economy because of media hype, hysteria and exaggeration about the COVID-19 pandemic.

And when that didn't finish the job, they moved to plan B: riots, unrest, looting and torching businesses.

There's no need to debate. It's all happening in front of our eyes. We are at war.

It's no accident that Democratic governors and mayors are fighting the hardest to keep the economy closed.

It's no accident that antifa thugs are showing up with bricks and Molotov cocktails to lead riots and burn cities.

This is no amateur hour. This was planned, organized, coordinated and funded by our enemies. Thugs are being bussed and flown into big cities to lead riots. Their weapons have been delivered to protest sites ahead of time.

And where did all the violent thugs and hooligans come from? The liberal district attorneys (in many cases, put in place by the funding of George Soros and others like him) let the felons out of prison.

Someone will pay for all of this. It's time to take aggressive action and prove who will pay.

Here is a plan, Mr. President, to stop the unrest and end the crisis.
1. Cut the head off the snake. Just like the battle against Islamic terrorism, follow the money. Order a worldwide investigation into the funding of domestic terrorism. Suspect No. 1 has to be Soros and his Open Society Foundations. But there are many more wealthy globalists and socialists involved.

2. Sign an executive order tripling prison sentences for any felony committed during riots or unrest. These are hate crimes. These offenses deserve special harsh punishment under the umbrella of domestic terrorism.

3. Bring in the National Guard when circumstances warrant, with or without the approval of Democratic governors. A brave young police officer was shot in the neck during a Black Lives Matter protest here in Las Vegas.
As of this writing, he is in grave condition, on life support. He might have very well been home with his family and healthy if the National Guard had been on the streets that night, backing up police. We can't afford to wait for Democratic governors to act.

4. Don't stop with the investigation of George Soros and other possible funders of domestic terrorism. Investigate Democratic governors and members of Congress with ties to antifa. They are doing the bidding of domestic terrorists.

5. Intercept all those piles of bricks left by antifa at protest sites across the USA; load them onto trucks; drive them to the U.S-Mexico border; and use them to build our wall.
WE ARE AT WAR. It's time to take aggressive action. And it's time to pick a side. You are either for making America great again ... or you are against it. If you're against it, you are an enemy of the United States of America.

Title 18 Section 2101 United States Code (T18S2102 USC) states;

(a) Whoever travels in interstate or foreign commerce or uses any facility of interstate or foreign commerce, including, but not limited to, the mail, telegraph, telephone, radio, or television, with intent—

(1)

to incite to riot; or

(2)

to organize, promote, encourage, participate in, or carry on a riot; or

(3)

to commit any act of violence in furtherance of a riot; or

(4) to aid or abet any person in inciting or participating in or carrying on a riot or committing any act of violence in furtherance of a riot;

and who either during the course of any such travel or use or thereafter performs or attempts to perform any other overt act for any purpose specified in subparagraph (A), (B), (C), or (D) of this paragraph…

Shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.

There’s more, but even the uneducated can understand what this law prohibits.

In my opinion, these riots ,like most other Riots are organized…they are very well organized and funded by organizations like those that former President Hussein Obama either started ,organized, belongs to , sought funding for and then used to cause rioting. George Soros money may well be involved.

I don’t believe that, organizations that Obama organized like OFA, Obama for America , or other such names, were formed to do anything to help America.

Follow the money. And when they find it came from Democrat sources, go after them. Like Hillary said, “Never let a good tragedy go without taking advantage of the situation”.

Do you think for one minute that these, “ people” ,who are rioting in all those Democrat places are a coincidence …or maybe showing sympathy for the Minneapolis tragedy? Get real …these are last ditch, straw grasping Democraps… grasping for straws…they realize that neither  Joe Biden and Ms. Anybody Else…nor any color, anybody Democrat, can win against President Trump…and they hate it!

Regarding the Riots and Riots they are…they are NOT demonstrations, by any sense of the imagination…identify those who are participating  and follow the money, transportation, food sources, motel accommodations ,pick up points …prove they are funded riots and take it to the Organizers. Do we know anybody who is an expert…spent his career as a Community Organizer…there must be someone…he’d be a good starting point…what do you think?

As far as controlling a riot…enforce the laws! When, after an incident occurs that could lead to problems…do not allow any permits, are they nuts?  Impose a temporary curfew and arrest any violators, don’t run away from them.

If there is a lack of holding cells…rent 40 ft tractor trailers and photograph, ID if possible search their  record for the info , keep them handcuffed and place them in the temporary holding cells…it may take a while …tell them to bring a bag of Depends!

Give due notice that because of the extreme dangers cast upon the citizens and ,law enforcement and property, by riots, by executive order, there will be a mandatory 30 day jail sentence and $1000 fine for those arrested in the Curfew designated areas.

Arsonists will be shot, any armed rioter will be shot, and rock throwers will be shot, by law enforcement.

These people are not protestors, they are violent, recidivist, criminals looking to benefit themselves.

Administrators ( Governors to Mayors) , Chiefs of Police, Sheriffs who refuse to protect preserve and defend the Constitution and American Citizens, should be charged with Criminal Negligence!

You want to “vent”? Go get a ventilator!

Confused or frustrated by the news/data on COVID-19? If you follow the daily news on the coronavirus that has stopped the world in its tracks, you are probably inundated with contradictions. Back in mid-March when the pandemic label was proclaimed, we were told millions could die and we should shelter at home. The virus apparently lived on surfaces, could remain in the air for hours and was particularly devastating to the elderly. We were told to wear gloves and masks if we ventured out into a contaminated world. The elderly were told to stay home.

As we retreated to our homes, the data continued to pour over us, spreading ironically like a virus. Everything shut down, and most of us quarantined at home. As the data changed, the numbers changed and some of us began wondering why. The CDC has released new numbers, new COVID projections almost daily, on age, race/ethnicity and underlying conditions. They now produce "provisional" death counts. At some point, many began to wonder what the CDC actually knows. After all they, too, are faced with an unknown.

Add to that the human spirit, which does not like to be controlled and you have the protesters who have gathered to say no to the many regulations and orders that various governors, including Colorado's, have imposed.

When the experts can't agree, we have a problem. Now over 60 days in, we still don't have consistent answers. Order is maintained when the rules of the game are clearly defined. Are restaurants open or closed? Should you go to church? Is it safe to dine out? Are we supposed to wear masks? Now we are told the virus doesn't live on surfaces for as long as we thought, so gloves aren't necessary. What else has changed?

A lot of America's chaos is due to these ever-changing questions. Until the elusive vaccine is developed, we need consistency. And we (you and I) can help.

Don't spread conspiracy theories, and don't lean into the panic. Don't let social media or rumors define your thoughts.

As uncomfortable as it is, we must accept that the adage "only time will tell" applies to this pandemic more than we would like.

State and local officials were anxiously awaiting what Monday night might bring after weekend protests statewide were marred by violence, property damage and tense confrontations with police.

After a rash of rioting Saturday in Miami, Tampa and Jacksonville, at least 11 Florida municipalities imposed curfews Sunday that expired Monday morning. Miami-Dade County’s curfew remains in place.

Gov. Ron DeSantis had not declared a state of emergency in Florida. On Saturday, the governor activated nearly 500 National Guardsmen to respond to requests for assistance from local officials. As of Monday, 150 guardsmen were in Miramar, 100 were in Tampa and 150 were in Camp Blanding near Starke.

DeSantis had not addressed the demonstrations staged across the state and nation in the wake of last week’s death in Minneapolis of George Floyd – a black man who died in custody after a white police officer knelt on his neck for several minutes – until he issued a statement at 5 p.m. Monday.

“Florida has zero tolerance for violence, rioting and looting,” he said. “George Floyd’s murder was appalling, and the Minnesota perpetrators need to be brought to justice, but this cannot be used as a pretext for violence in our Florida communities.”

DeSantis said he has activated an additional 200 Florida National Guardsmen “specially trained to support law enforcement. I have also worked with the FHP to coordinate more than 1,300 sworn Florida Highway Patrol troopers to support local law enforcement efforts. We will continue to do everything necessary to keep residents safe.”

Weekend demonstrations were staged in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, Tallahassee, Daytona Beach, Stuart, Lakeland and other Florida cities.

• Miami: Protesters Saturday night vandalized or set ablaze 17 squad cars outside Miami Police headquarters; hurled rocks and bottles, injuring four officers; shut down I-95; and looted stores inside Bayside Marketplace.

Miami Police Chief Jorge Colina said Sunday that 13 of the 57 people arrested Saturday were Miami residents. The Miami Herald reported, however, 30 had Miami-Dade County addresses. Eleven others were from Broward and Palm Beach counties, seven were not Florida residents and six were listed as homeless.

On Sunday, hundreds marched past the federal detention center and blocked the westbound lanes of I-395. They were confronted by Miami-Dade officers in riot gear and gradually dispersed without a repeat of Saturday’s violence.

Miami-Dade County remains under a curfew imposed by Mayor Carlos Gimenez. As a result, beaches – closed since March because of the COVID-19 emergency – did not open as planned Monday but may open Tuesday if the curfew is lifted.

• Fort Lauderdale: Police used tear gas along Las Olas Boulevard and near the the Broward County Library to break up what witnesses and media reported was a peaceful demonstration by about 2,500 people. One officer was suspended after video showed he pushed a kneeling woman to the ground, spurring protesters to throw bottles.

Police and local official said “agitators” are infiltrating organized marches.

“What I’m hearing from different sources is there are people embedded in these demonstrations to cause a lot of misery on people to make the demonstrators who were there early look bad and to really not benefit the cause of moving our country forward,” Broward County Mayor Dale Holness told CBS4 Sunday night.

• Tampa: Protesters smashed 40 store windows; looted AT&T, jewelry and Champs Sports stores; and set a Mobile gas station ablaze Saturday night. Police in riot gear confronted hundreds in University Mall’s parking lot and arrested 41. One Hillsborough County deputy was hit in the back of the head with a “hard object,” and a Tampa police officer was treated for minor burns after being struck by a “mortar.”

Tampa Mayor Jane Castor on Sunday imposed a 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew in response to Saturday protests and called for National Guard assistance.

On Sunday, thousands gathered and demonstrated, although there was little violence. Black Lives Matter organizers had nearly 100 “safety marshals” in fluorescent vests and with walkie-talkies, patrolling their march, using “de-escalation tactics” and watching for “antagonists.”

• Jacksonville: Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry on Sunday imposed an 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew after Friday and Saturday protests turned violent in the face of tear gas and a heavy police presence.

Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams said one deputy was either stabbed or slashed in the neck and was taken to a hospital for treatment Saturday evening.

The Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS) has requested 100,000 private companies registered as vendors authorized to bid on state contracts to verify within 30 days whether they are “majority-owned by United States interests.”

Florida Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis said at Thursday's Florida Cabinet meeting – the first gathering of the state’s four top elected officials since February – that DFS will demand contractors and vendors “self-identify whether they’re majority American-owned.”

The goal of the query, he said, is to “better identify businesses that are majority Communist Party of China-owned that do business with the state of Florida.”

In an April 23 letter to Chinese Ambassador to the United States Cui Tiankai, Patronis warned the state has identified $2 billion in unclaimed assets in Florida linked to “wholly” owned Chinese companies that it may target as restitution to compensate the state for costs incurred from the COVID-19 emergency.

“China should own the problems they've caused this country and the state of Florida due to their mishandling of #COVID19. Let’s find any unclaimed property of Chinese-owned companies and look at ways to use it to help Florida,” Patronis tweeted that same day.

On Thursday, Patronis said his warning to Tiankai fell on deaf ears, so he is authorizing DFS to ferret out vendors with Chinese ties.

“Since they’ve chosen to not respond to our official transmission, we’re going to follow through in our commitment of identifying Chinese-owned businesses that do business with the state,” he said. “This will provide us information should Florida need to withhold payments to these businesses as federal leaders sort out potential financial impacts against the Communist Party of China.”

DFS’ Vendor Ownership Survey, sent to the state’s registered contractors, said, “If you are a vendor that is domiciled in the United States and controlled directly or indirectly at all levels (meaning at least fifty percent (50.00%) ownership or more) by United States citizens and entities (“U.S. Interests”), you are hereby requested to respond within 30 days by verifying your status as a company owned and controlled by U.S. Interests, in order to avoid necessary follow up by the Department.

“If you are not included in the above because you are not owned or controlled by U.S. Interests,” the survey concluded, “your response stating so is also requested.”

Florida Cabinet meetings are chaired by the governor. In addition to Gov. Ron DeSantis and Patronis, the Cabinet includes Attorney General Ashley Moody and Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried.

All four have targeted China, generally, and the Communist Party of China (CPC), specifically, since the COVID-19 emergency emerged in March.

DeSantis routinely accuses China of withholding disclosure about the coronavirus to hoard personal protective equipment and other supplies “to try to screw over the rest of the world.”

Moody joined 17 other state attorneys general last month in calling on Congress to investigate CPC for an alleged “massive conspiracy to cover up and mislead the international community about the severity and highly contagious nature of the novel coronavirus.”

Fried is lobbying against a “misguided” USDA-approved plan to import five types of Chinese citrus as the state’s $8.6 billion citrus industry combats greening disease, or citrus huanglongbing (HLB), a bacteria that originated in China.

Florida Republican U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio and U.S. Rep. Michael Waltz, R-St. Augustine Beach, have called on DFS to purge Chinese companies from the state's $200 billion investment portfolio after learning the Florida Retirement System (FRS) owned – as of June 2019 – 1.8 million shares in Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co. Ltd., a black-listed Chinese-owned company.

If a State, County or City, because of their political beliefs, fails to enforce the law…lawlessness is ALWAYS the result!

I am not surprised of the resulting lawlessness after what may well be an illegal act of a few lawmen.

I am surprised at the continued use of an extreme, choke hold, on an apparently, submitted subject. I am not surprised that it resulted in a death. I am not surprised; at the resulting rioting in a black neighborhood, against innocent, black, honest citizens and their businesses… in an extremely left State, extremely left City and extremely Democrat led failure to enforce the freaking law!! You folks who keep electing incompetent, Democrat leaders whose only agenda is to replace our President, are getting what you deserve for leaders…do nothing… if it’s okay take credit if it turns to crap…blame a Republican. That’s the leadership that exists in every single Democrat led State and they are all in big financial trouble… but not one Republican led State is in trouble!?

On the use of a choke hold…I was the head Firearms and DT (Defensive Tactics) Instructor for my FBI Division. I did not teach the choke hold to either FBI Agents or Police Officers. I demonstrated the choke hold…explained that it is “the use of deadly force” … and it can be used, if not prohibited by their Agency…just like you can shoot to kill when necessary…to save a life.

I didn’t teach it because, in my opinion, it required a skill factor that required more training than we could provide, in the time allotted for any DT training. We dedicated many weeks to the use of handguns, rifles and shot guns for the proficiency in the use of deadly force and a single week for DTs covering every aspect of handcuffing, control, disarming, self-protection, extraction from a vehicle and on and on and …oh yea, choke holds…not nearly enough time.

I used a choke hold once in my entire career of some 3 decades working the FBI’s Violent Crimes Program. That was after exchanging shots with and during the arrest, of an extremely tough, bad guy, who decked my partner twice, took a hostage (12 year old little girl), after I shot back. We ended up in a “fight for survival” where I knocked him out with an “extreme” choke hold. He never stopped fighting…until he was out cold!

That was extreme, justified and legal even if he had not survived the fight…that’s how extreme the situation must be in my opinion, before the use of a gun or choke hold (deadly force)  can be used…in my opinion.

So, is the use of deadly force allowed…justified…absolutely…but you had better be ready to explain how you were protecting yourself or somebody else!

With the limited information, and needless to say, the lack of the MSM displaying the entire videos and all that led up to the unfortunate death...no one should say who was at fault until there is a Grand Jury Hearing and Grand Jury verdict … True Bill or No Bill.

Being a lawman is unlike anything else in the world. In war a soldier has rules of engagement on whether to kill or not. Lawmen are not allowed to toss in a hand grenade to clear a room…soldiers are. Extreme? Not at all…being that a Police Officer is less likely to be shot, sniped or IED’d than a soldier is good… but his “Rules of Engagement” are much less clear, not well defined! He truly has to make his own Rules of Engagement as he moves down that street!

We must, because of the dangers our Police, Lawmen face daily…we must… give them the benefit of doubt…no matter how tough that may be. I personally have been pulled out of FBI cars looking down the barrel of a 12 gage shotgun held by a Police Officer, more than once, during critical FBI surveillances, because of mistakes made, mostly due to a lack of communication, with no one person to blame…it’s a “mistake”! Stuff happens!

Unlike Obama and Erick Holder…President Trump does have the backs of his lawmen and I believe he will continue to do so! Just let the other lawmen do their jobs…and don’t think burning down buildings and looting are allowed because it’s blacks harming blacks…all black lives and black businesses do matter, but scum, any color,  like those arsonists and looters…don’t!

Retired, Extremely Dangerous!

After President Donald Trump took to Twitter to threaten pulling the Republican National Convention out of Charlotte, N.C, other southeast states with Trump allies as governor have offered to host the convention.

The GOP convention is scheduled for late August in Charlotte. North Carolina entered phase two of its reopening plan amid the coronavirus pandemic last week under Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper, who has been cautious in lifting restrictions.

"I love the Great State of North Carolina, so much so that I insisted on having the Republican National Convention in Charlotte at the end of August," Trump tweeted Monday. "Unfortunately, Democrat Governor, @RoyCooperNC is still in Shutdown mood & unable to guarantee that by August we will be allowed full attendance in the Arena."

Trump's four-tweet thread went on to say that without an immediate answer about attendance, the Republican Party will be forced to find a new location.

Enter Florida and Georgia.

A little more than four hours later Monday morning, Republican Party of Florida Chairman and state Sen. Joe Gruters responded.

"America’s #1 Governor @GovRonDeSantis and the state of Florida would welcome @realDonaldTrump and the 2020 convention with open arms," Gruters tweeted. "Florida is open for business. @FloridaGOP"

DeSantis addressed the situation Tuesday at a news conference naming two new Florida Supreme Court justices.

“Florida would love to have the RNC,” DeSantis said. “Heck, I am a Republican, and I can say that Florida would love to have the [Democratic National Convention]” because of the revenue conventions generate.

“Florida wants to work with you,” DeSantis said. “We definitely want to work with you. We’d like to have you in Florida. The door is open.”

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp also weighed in Tuesday.

"With world-class facilities, restaurants, hotels, and workforce, Georgia would be honored to safely host the Republican National Convention," Kemp tweeted. "We hope you will consider the Peach State, @realdonaldtrump!"

“Under Governor Kemp, Georgia has led the nation in safely reopening its economy," Georgia Republican Party Chairman David Shafer said. "We have first-class facilities, a skilled workforce and a reputation for hospitality second to none. We would be proud to host the Republican National Convention.”

A Cooper spokesperson responded, via Cooper's Twitter account, to Trump's tweets: "State health officials are working with the RNC and will review its plans as they make decisions about how to hold the convention in Charlotte. North Carolina is relying on data and science to protect our state’s public health and safety."

It should be noted, Republican Charlotte City Council member Ed Driggs told the Charlotte Observer, Charlotte’s contract is with the GOP’s Committee on Arrangements, not the White House.
